I designed this piece for stability and a comforting weight. The rounded, stout form feels substantial and grounded in your hand, emphasizing the material. The split glaze technique creates a strong visual contrast, separating the bright, untouched white side—like winter snow reflecting light—from the glossy black side, reminiscent of smooth, wet river stones. When you lift the pot, you feel the density of the fired clay, making the simple act of brewing tea a moment of quiet stillness. The handle is pulled to offer a wide, comfortable grip for a steady pour.
